The audience favourite is back for 2025!
On May 31st and June 1st, we will once again have the pleasure of presenting a unique walking performance “Oslofjorden Dancer” – a journey through Old Oslo.
DiGGfest is rounded off with a journey that starts at the Interkulturelt Museum in Grønland, moves through the district and ends in Bjørvika. Here, the audience divides into two groups, where one descends to the river and climbs aboard the boats from Akerselva Trebåtforening and the other is guided through the route on foot. During the walk, the stage is set for many beautiful moments of dance that show the district’s different qualities, connections and contrasts.
The backbone of Oslofjorden Danser is the solo works performed by the dancers in the talent development program TILT Grow – combined with the meeting with local performers and actors. Together, they have the opportunity to create unique and atmospheric experiences, far beyond the edge of the stage. The dancers create their solos in collaboration with selected, trend-setting choreographers.
Oslofjorden Dancer is a completely new way to experience the city and nature.

what the audience has said about the performance:
“[The walk] may not have changed my life, but it has given me a lot of new things, both a feeling of joy, sadness and anger, but not fear.”
– Audience living in the Gamle Oslo district, 2022
“The artistic elements were not only impressive and strong, but culturally critical. What is art? And for whom? These were extremely strong artistic expressions. As an audience, you became awake in a different way than inside a traditional theater hall. With this project, Panta Rei has created art in new ways and with the entire district as a stage.”
– Lars Høgset, audience member and wooden boat enthusiast, 2021
“Grønland, Vaterland and Bjørvika need more presence of art in public space. The not-so-established art scene with Panta Rei at the forefront adds something new to the cityscape that everyone can take part in.”
– CEO of Akerselva wooden boat association Aslak Juel Kristensen, 2021
“The integrity of Panta Rei Dance Theatre’s traveling performance Oslofjorden danser made it one of the best performing arts experiences I had this year.”
– Reviewer Berit Einemo Frøysland in Norsk Shakespeartidsskrift chose Oslofjorden danser as Performance of the Year in 2021.
