The four talents

TILT Grow 2018 is underway and we are really enjoying working with four amazing dance artists in the talent development program.

The four artists who are selected to participate in TILT Grow 2018 are:

Ingvild is from Oppdal. She has her dance education from Trondheim Cathedral School and the University of Stavanger. Since 2010 she has been based in Oslo and has worked as a dance artist and dance teacher. Ingvild has been a collaborative dancer in several productions (f.ex. Rom for Dans “A4”, 2016), dancing in the Cultural Schoolbag (Katma “Darkness”, 2017-) and choreographed her own works for viewing arenas in Norway and abroad. In 2015 Ingvild was adept in the mentor program for the Actor and Dancer Alliance.

Ingvild looks forward to taking part in TILT Grow and spending more time in Trøndelag in the years to come!

Marthe Aleksandra J. Aagesen

Marthe is born and raised in Trondheim. She has her dance education from Spin Off Forstudium in Oslo and the Ballet Academy in Stockholm, where she graduated in 2016. During the course, she exchanged for Codarts in Rotterdam, had a internship at Norrdans and worked as a co-choreographer in the dancecollective “Erling Ero”. After her education she has worked as a freelancer based in Trondheim, and has mainly focused on her own projects. She has worked with the duet “Albatross” shown in Oslo and Bollnäs, and the solo piece “Then” shown at Avant Garden in Trondheim. She has also been building the dance company “Montage”, which had its first performance in January this year.

Marthe looks at TILT Grow as the perfect challenge and is looking forward to being part of the project!

Rebecka has completed her bachelor program in dance with integrated PPU at the University of Stavanger. In the fall of 2013 she immersed in modern / tanztheater at Fontys Hogeschool voor de kunsten in Tilburg, The Netherlands. After graduating, she also became a certified Yoga instructor in India. Now she works freelance as a dance artist, choreographer and educator in Trondheim. In addition to working on her own projects, she has been engaged as a dancer under the Korsvik game, Multiplié Dance Festival, Kunsthall Trondheim, DansiT and TSO. This fall, she became engaged as a dancer for the show “You look like you” by Yaniv Cohen and worked as a project assistant under “A song to ..” by Mia Habib, shown during the Bastard Festival. She started Montage Dansekompani in November 2017 in collaboration with three other dance artists.

Rebecka is committed to making the dance art in Trondheim more accessible to a wider audience and is looking forward to being part of TILT Grow!

Julie is from Oppdal. She is educated at the Oslo Academy of Arts in Oslo with a bachelor’s degree in classical ballet (2011-2014) and a master’s degree in dance (2015-2017). Since 2014 she has participated in the “Peer Gynt” at The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, by Sigrid Strøm Reibo, AV HISTORISK GRUNN Part 3 of the choreography collective Berstad / Helgebostad / Seljeseth. In 2017 she has participated in Kristian Støvind, Lise Tiller, Petra Barghouthi, and Yaniv Cohen’s productions. As part of her master’s project at KHiO (2017), she choreographed and practiced “Reflexive Memory”. In the spring of 2018 she works with Bente Alice Westgaard and Petra Barghouthi.

Julie is concerned about making the dance available in the districts and is looking forward to seeing what the TILT Grow project can be!
