2020 — PROSJEKTER

En solo av og med David Forsberg i samarbeid med koreograf Erik Kaiel.

Spirit rises, feathers fall. This dance haiku is inspired by Icarus, and weaves together flight, falling, loving, learning, loss, and the longing to live intensely. In a time when we cannot be too close, how are we to find closeness?

DAVID FORSBERG

David er en dansekunstner som kommer fra Falun, Sverige. Han er utdannet fra to folkehøgskoler, ett år på Kävesta folkehøgskole i Örebro og to år i “Ny utdanning for samtidsdans” (Härnösand Folkhögskola). Etter to år på Härnösand folkehøgskole fikk David tilbud om trainee-kontrakt som danser ved Norrdans dansekompani.

I løpet av året hos Norrdans jobbet han med internasjonale og nasjonale koreografer som Martin Forsberg, Jose Agudo, Mari Carrasco, Peter Svenzon, Viktor Konvalinka og var involvert i et filmprosjekt med den prisbelønte koreografen Fabio Liberti.

I 2019 flyttet David til Oslo for å jobbe med Nagelhus Schia Productions i deres “Apprentice mentorship program” (AMP). I slutten av 2019 opptrådte han med soloen “What’s Next”, som hadde premiere i Stockholms Stadsteater, og var også involvert i en produksjon i Spania sammen med koreograf Fabian Thome.

ERIK KAIEL

Erik an award winning independent choreographer based in the Netherlands. His work is performed all over the world, both on stage and in public space. He also regularly teaches composition workshops & guest choreographs for other organizations. This is his second collaboration with Tilt/Panta Rei , after ‘Det vi ikke ser’ in Fall 2018.
